English for Architecture

English for Architecture (Bahasa Inggris Terapan Arsitektur) aims to enhance both active and passive English language skills through the comprehension of popular articles and academic journals in Architecture written in English. Students are encouraged to develop their listening and speaking abilities by watching video readings and practicing them. Additionally, they engage in video-recorded presentations. The course facilitates the enhancement of writing skills through paraphrasing sections of articles and writing reflections on architectural issues.

Specifically, students learn basic English presentation techniques and improve their presentation skills in delivering memes, popular articles, and journal articles. The learning approach involves delivering lecture materials through lectures, forming cooperative learning groups for active discussions and direct practice for each topic taught, as well as Project-Based Learning.
